View-rich, long (ridge) hike to the Benediktenwand from Obermurbach to the Stie-Alm, via the Achselköpfe and the Rotohrsattel. The round tour continues around the Benediktenwand, to the Rotohrsattel, below the Achselköpfe and over the Latschenkopf to the Stiegelalm.
As the trail from Obermurbach to the Stiegelalm is on a wide forest path, it is a good idea to ride up here on a mountain bike to save yourself the "shuffling" of the long Rück path. The circular tour around and to the Benediktenwand begins from the Stie-Alm. From here, the path becomes somewhat narrower and repeatedly turns into a ridge walk. A head for heights and good physical condition are advantageous.
