A Fascinating route in the protected landscape of Los Derriscaderos
moderate
Distance 7.4 km
This route is an interesting hike through the volcanic pumice landscape of the protected Natural Monument of Los Derriscaderos. The walk initially follows the Barranco de La Mula, at times following the streambed on a rough and rocky path. After a short climb out of the barranco, the route then descends into the Barranco De Las Monjas, which is followed back to the start point. Throughout the walk, the wind eroded pumice is sculpted into fascinating shapes.
