From Jungholz to the Reuterwanne

There are magnificent views on the Reuterwanne - and yet the tour is suitable for everyone, because the lush green meadows and pastures over which our path leads are mostly only moderately steep. We start our tour in Jungholz and reach the summit of the 1541 m high Reuterwanne in about 2 hours. In several rustic alps along the way, such as the Stubental Alpe or the Untere Alpe Reuterwanne, we can fortify ourselves with a stop. A spectacular panoramic view awaits us at the open meadow summit of the Reuterwanne: To the south we see the long Wertach valley, the jagged double peak of Sorgschrofen and the peaks of Gaishorn, Großer Daumen and Grünten as well as the gentle ridges of the Wertacher Hörnles. To the north, we look into the pre-Alpine Allgäu with Kempten and the unobstructed view to the east reveals the Ostallgäu and even the Zugspitze in the distance.
