Kilsheelan - Gurteen Wood 6.5km

Location
From Kilsheelan take the R706 across the bridge over the Suir. At the Junction with the R680  turn slightly left and then park at the entrance to the woods on the opposite side of the road.
Terrain
This walk is off road on  woodland stony paths & tracks, can be muddy underfoot at times. One section has debris underfoot so extra care is needed.
Directions: Enter the wood at the barrier and take first right turn. At the next junction veer left. Turn left downhill at next junction and then take the second left, this is a more overgrown path but opens up to beautiful views of Slievenamon and Kilsheelan village on your left. At  the next junction turn left and continue straight to the barrier and your starting point.
