The short hike to Hinter-Weissenstein can be combined into a circular hike via the comfortable track and hiking trail, which both run almost parallel to each other, so that nobody has to walk the same route twice. Whether you’ve decided to take the circular hiking route or the same route there and back, the landscape, the mountain and its surrounding nature all look completely different when you walk from east to west or from west to east. It is also always worth stopping at one of the mountain restaurants.

In winter, the scavenger hunt complete with a chocolate fondue is a highlight! This is available from November to March. The tricky puzzles on Solothurn’s local mountain promise fun for the whole family.
