The long Meneseggi Ridge stretches all the way from the fjord to the alpine Melsnipa. The hike to Menesstølen gives you a taste of the ridge, and a tremendous view over the Fjærlandsfjord and the Sognefjord. It’s tough on the legs with 750 meters of elevation gain, but the reward is a beautiful lunch spot at an old summer farm.
- The cabins at Menesstølen are private. Feel free to have a rest outside and take photographs, but leave the doors closed and the area untouched.
