Drugmbernca is one of ten Cherry Blossom Trails, which are named after old Brda cherry varieties. The trails are marked by brown signposts, yellow and white circles and yellow arrows on roads, rocks and trees.
This loop trail will take you from Dobrovo to the view tower in Gonjače, Šmartno, Biljana and then back to Dobrovo, all the while climbing and descending the Brda hills among vineyards.
The trail starts and ends at the Dobrovo Castle, which is interesting from the historic, cultural and artistic point of view, since it houses a museum and a gallery. It then leads us past the Klet Brda winery, the largest producer and exporter of Slovenian wines.
Other highlights of the trail are the 23-m view tower in Gonjače from which you can admire the hilly Brda landscape with the Adriatic Sea on one side and the Alps on the other one, and the village of Šmartno. Šmartno, a medieval fortified village with five defence towers, got its name from the patron saint of St. Martin's church.
