Discover the eastern Valais Alps in 9 stages over 122 kilometers.
6th stage: The Trittico with a good view. From the Zwischenberger Oratorium you walk down over the Großer Wasser into the valley and then climb up the opposite slope between larch forests and grassy areas. You reach the Monscerapass, entrance to the Bognancotal, from which you have a wonderful view of the walls of the three peaks of the Simplon (from the right: Fletschhorn, Lagginhorn, Weissmies) and the Pizzo d’Andolla. The view of the mountains of the Bognanco valley is great and later, when you descend to Gattascosa and St. Bernhard, peat bogs and smaller lakes enrich the landscape.
Take a short break at the beautiful Tschawinersee and enjoy the nature and the mountains.
