A real classic: an easy hike leads from Rathen through the unique rock and forest landscape to the popular Gamrig lookout rock.

From Rathen we hike through the picturesque Grünbachtal valley to Amselsee lake. In the Höllgrund we then walk up to the plateau, which we leave again in a south-easterly direction. Now we hike in the Koppelsgrund to the popular Gamrig lookout rock, which offers us a wonderful panoramic view of the magnificent rocky landscape. After a short detour to the Gamrig cave, we return to our starting point at the Gierseil ferry.
