A real classic, the hike from Rathen leads past the Amselsee lake to the Gamrig lookout rock, which offers a fantastic view.

From Rathen we hike through the picturesque Grünbachtal valley to Amselsee lake. In Höllgrund we turn right and continue hiking in a south-easterly direction. In Koppelsgrund we reach a popular lookout rock, the Gamrig, from where we have a wonderful far-reaching view of the rocky landscape. After a short detour to the caves of the same name, we hike back to our starting point.
