The figure trail begins at the Am Bleichrasen parking lot and leads over Kissinger Strasse through Hammelburg city center to the roundabout with artificial figures. Continue along Rote-Kreuz-Straße and Ofenthaler Weg towards the hospital. Turn left into Karl-Kaiser-Straße and make a short ascent on Urbanusweg to the Europa Pavilion. From there you have a wonderful view over Hammelburg. Continue along vineyards to ADAC-Platz & (from here a detour to terroir f is also possible), then through a wooded area to the Abtsweg / MainWerra-Weg crossroads. Now the path continues through the forest - past the "mysterious figures"), enigmatic sculptures whose origin nobody knows. A short stay is highly recommended! Through the vineyards you get down to the Eschental, to the hospital and finally you hike back to the starting point.

Getting there

The hiking trail can be approached via the A7. You leave this at exit 97 Hammelburg and also drive the B287 in the direction of Hammelburg. Take the third exit to Hammelburg and cross the Saale, leave the roundabout at the first exit and turn right to the Bleichrasen parking lot.

You can park for 3 hours free of charge in the front parking lots and completely free of charge in the rear ones. Please follow the signs.
