Rhön Rundweg 6 - Sturmiusweg - Diebach - Hammelburg - Rhön
Beautiful, medium-difficult circular route. It is entertaining and you will be rewarded with great views.
moderate
Distance 4.2 km
The hiking trail starts in the center of Diebach (Diebacher Straße) and first leads on the connecting road in the direction of Windheim over the railway line until you come to the Reesbergweg on the right, past a war memorial. You walk past a historical wayside shrine through fields and forest up to the Sturmiusberg with the Marienkapelle from 1892. From there you can enjoy the wonderful view down to Diebach and into the Saale valley. Then you hike through mixed forest and fields to the entrance of Diebach - past the Sturmiushof over the street Am Sturmiusberg back to the starting point.

The tourist paths of the Rhön are mostly used by other active people (hikers, mountain bikers, cyclists, walkers, riders, cross-country skiers, etc.).We ask all active nature athletes to show consideration for one another . The same applies, of course, to nature - it is worth protecting. In the Rhön, therefore, nature sports should only be practiced in daylight on designated paths and areas.
