Start: parking of the recreation area

We take the country road, go north and climb up to the vine­yards. We follow the national footpath "Sentier de la Moselle" and go downhill to the Moselle. We go along the riverbank, pass the Baggerweieren and return to the starting point.

Author’s recommendation

For refreshment after the hike, the bathing lake is perfect, located directly at the starting point.

Erste sehr schöne und entspannte Etappe durch eine wahrlich flotte Natur, Foto natürlich aus deutlich entfernterer Position gemacht

Manchmal über Pfade, manchmal Wege, sogar Stege und Brücken beinhaltet diese Etappe

Versteckte sowie, man sieht’s an der Spiegelung des Wassers, absolute Windstille hier in dieser Bucht.

Kurz vor diesem Platz eine etwas versteckte Stelle fürs Lauschen der Naturgeräusche (oder Stille?), hier dann fast wie in einem Zuhörerraum.

Letzter Blick auf die Mosel, dann geht es wieder etwa 80 m zurück auf dem Fahrradweg und über die zu überquerende N10 auf den Bréicherwee zum Parkplatz hin.
