Between Rhöndorf and Bad Honnef, idyllic paths, shady valleys, charming views and a popular excursion guesthouse in the Siebengebirge await us.

We start the third stage of the Rheinsteig in Rhöndorf and hike on shady paths and trails up to the Breiberg shelter. A short detour takes us to the summit of the Breiberg with its great views. Then we walk along the Kleiner Breiberg and the Ölender to the Waldgaststätte Löwenburger Hof. After a stop at the popular restaurant, we can visit the Löwenburg ruins before descending along the Possbach ditch into the valley of the Ohlbach. Another ascent brings us to the wooded heights of the Wingsberg. From here we walk up and down the slope.
