The hike to the Rumer Alm is an absolutely recommended destination in snow-free months. In about an hour you have left the hustle and bustle of the city behind and can enjoy the view over the Intal and Innsbruck with delicious Tyrolean food.
Our tour starts in the village of Rum and leads at the beginning through a branched deciduous forest. After half an hour we reach the wide main forest path, which takes us to the Rumer Alm after another 30 minutes. Be sure to order one of the Tyrolean specialties here, such as Kaspress Knödel, and then enjoy the sun from the hill with a full belly!
On the way back you can walk on forest paths as well as on the main path back down to the parking lot.
