Rein–Kehr–Pleschwirt inn–Mühbacher hut–Kasselsteig –Enzenbach
Distance 20.1 km
To discover the unique beauty of the alpine terrain near Graz, hike along the “four (one-)thousanders” Pleschkogel, Heiggerkogel, Walzkogel, and Mühlbacher Kogel. On nice days, the view extends as far as Riegersburg Castle in Styria’s southeastern hill country.
From Kasselsteig and Enzenbach you can continue on the GUW 562 hiking trail to Kleinstübing (where there is a train connection) or take the GUSTmobil minivan.

Safety informationHiking paths in OberGraz are generally easy to negotiate. Nevertheless, you should choose hiking routes that correspond to your level of fitness and surefootedness. Dogs must be kept on a leash! Don’t forget to check the opening hours of inns, restaurants or huts you’re planning to go to!
Please take particular care on those parts of this hike which are also part of the mountain bike trail.

Getting thereTake the A9 to Peggau/Deutschfeistritz and continue on the B67 to Gratwein and Rein.
