This is a scenic circular walk in Western Dartmoor, outbound you follow the Rattlebrook railway track, to Rattlebrook peat works boiler house, you then head up to Kitty Tor and Green Tor, you then drop down to the ruins of Bleak House (the old Rattlebrook peat works managers House). The return is along an old packhorse track which takes you to Bratt Tor, home of the tallest granite cross on Dartmoor!! the Widgery Cross. It’s then a steep descent to cross the River Lyd and finally back to the car park.
This route has no firing range restrictions.

On good paths and tracks, some parts are rough and rocky.
The section from the boiler house to Kitty Tor & Green Tor can be very wet especially in winter.
