Turn-by-turn directions
Departure - At the bottom of the car park, on the left, take the uphill path, follow the GR 441. Ignore 2 paths on the right. At the crossroads, continue opposite, straight ahead until the D16.
1 - Cross the road, take care of poor visibility, reach a fork at 20 m and turn right. When catching the springs, the path bends to the right and continues straight along the cheires of the Nugère (around the path, old stone quarries). Leave the path of Dr. Moity on the left. At the tarmac road, take it to the right, cross the Goulots; 50 m after this hamlet take a wide path on the left. At the fork, turn right, continue to a small road.
2 - Take it right until Moulet-Marcenat. At the stop sign, follow the D16 on the right, go past the ordinary oven, follow a small paved road on the left which quickly becomes a dirt road. At the crossroads, straight on (view of the puys of Louchadière, Jumes, Nugère and the Tunisset quarry). Go past a path on the right to reach a crossroads. Go down a grassy path to the right to a tarmac road. Follow it to the left up to a dirt road before the power line, near Viallard (view of the Puys range).
3 - Take the left on this path. After 30 m, continue left, at the fork turn right, until a T-junction (common route with the GR 441). Turn right. At the fork, turn left to a 2nd T-junction (view of the Château de Tournoël), descend to the right until you reach a tarmac road. Cross it, continue on the path opposite and find the road that leads back to the start.
