A pleasant stroll near the old Beaunit maar occupied by a narse (wetland) and crossed by the Ambene.
We enjoy beautiful views of the puys of Paugnat, Nugère, Jumes, Louchadière, Tressous, des Bannières and the Tunisset quarry.

Turn-by-turn directions
Departure - Back to the starting panel go opposite, then right on a dirt track (thematic panel La Narse de Beaunit), follow it along the narse then continue on the right. At an intersection (cross), turn right crossing the bridge over a stream. Continue the path to a new intersection.
1 - From there, go up to the left then go straight (view of the puys) until a new crossroads. Take a path opposite to enter the undergrowth. Cross the road and climb opposite in a beech and coniferous forest, ignoring the adjacent paths, up to a railroad track.
2 - Do not cross it and engage twice to the right. Snake in the meadow and follow the path through the undergrowth. At the clearing, go slightly opposite to the right to find the path; go down to the left. At the crow's feet turn left until the road. Follow it to the right and take the first path on the left. At the intersection, in a curve, head on the right path. Go down the dirt road to the right, up to the road that you follow for 100 m. Turn right on a small road going back to the village of Beaunit (on the left, quarries and thematic sign). Stay right, cross the village to find the starting point.
