Three Pens above a Table

We start with a fairly steep climb from the A40 up past the Darren onto a limestone plateau with three prominent points - Pen Gloch-y-Pibwr, Pen Allt Mawr and Pen Cerrig Calch, the three Pens - and then descend to Crug Hywel - Table Mountain - and back down to Crickhowell. Terrific views of the Brecon Beacons, Usk Valley, the Llangattock escarpment and a bird's eye view of Crickhowell.  Ascent 2500ft.
