Starting point of this stage of the Via Transalpina is Pordenone hut (1,249 m). Follow the trail 361 to the east through the Val Meluzzo. After about 1.4 km turn right and follow trail 362 and walk to the south-east through Val Postegae. In Casone Val dell'Inferno, between Cima Brica, Cima di Sion and Cima Val di Guerra, turn left and follow trail 362 through the Val di Guerra up to the Passo del Mus. Coming down from the Passo del Mus along trail no. 362 you will reach Flaiban-Pacherini hut in Val di Suola after about three hours.
