The easy circular hike to the Talblick Umhausen starts at the car park "Mure" in the center of Umhausen. From there it goes through meadows and fields in the direction of the district Farst/Östen. In the district of Östen you cross the main road and continue straight on, past the soccer field and walk over the wooden bridge to the district Hopfgarten. From the district Hopfgarten the hiking trail goes easy up to the "Talblick Umhausen", where you enjoy a wonderful view to Umhausen. After a cozy break, the circular hike leads slightly downhill to the village Tumpen. In Tumpen at the elementary school you cross again the main road and follow the hiking trail, past the legendary "Engelswand" and the "Maria Schnee" chapel, back to the starting point of the Umhausen circular hike.

Travel safe and comfortable with the train to the Ötztal Bahnhof train station. Last stop and exit point is the train station Ötztal Bahnhof. The car drive to the Ötztal valley. Situated in Tirol, the Ötztal valley set off in southerly direction and is the longest side valley in the Easter Alps. The journey with the car leads you through the Inntal valley to the entrance of the valley and further on through the valley. Among the toll motorways you can also use the country roads.
