Start on Mercer Bay Loop track, there are some amazing views of Mercer Bay and lots of history of the first Pa Site in New Zealand. Definitely worth having a look around this area.
Continue up the track until you come across Comans Track, this is a rougher track with some great views. Make sure you take some well worn side tracks to see some better views. The descent down is steep but doesn't take too long.
You can head out to Karekare beach or turn onto Ahu Ahu Track.
This is a wide track with a steady incline to the junction again.
Overall I really liked this track, it's a pretty good work out too but the views are amazing.
