Pass the "Eisbachwelle" and walk to the other side of the Eisbach towards the Japanese Teahouse Kanshoan. Before the next bridge, turn left, walk to the street and cross it. On the right side you can now see the Prinz-Carl-Palais, on the left side the corresponding fountain.
The route continues to the poet's garden. After the "Dichtergarten" turn right and you can already see the beginning of the Hofgarten.
Start walking towards the Bavarian State Chancellery and the statue of Otto I of Wittelsbach as well as the war memorial. Then walk into the middle of the Hofgarten, past the Dianatempel, to the other end.Turn left again and finish the "round tour". At the level of the war memorial, turn into Alfons-Goppel-Straße and after 50 meters turn right and take the path through the courtyard of the Residenz. At the end you come to Odeonsplatz and the Theatinerkirche.
Leave this on the left and follow Brienner Straße to Wittelsbacher Platz, where Maximilian Churfürst von Bayern is already waiting for you and will show you where to continue.
Inside, you'll find an indoor Christmas market during the winter season. Enjoying a warm drink and snacking on a few cookies is on the agenda here. Further across the square of the victims of National Socialism you can already see Friedrich von Schiller.
Now follow the green area behind him to the Wittelsbacher Brunnen. Further straight ahead is a gate, the entrance of the Old Botanical Garden. After about 100 meters you can already see the Neptune Fountain and on the right side the Parkcafé.
