From here the trail follows the Moselle railway line to Mülheim. It continues through the brook valley to Veldenz and over forest and meadow paths to Burgen. On the Burgener Flur there are wonderful views of the Moselle valley and the Hunsrück heights. Finally, the tour continues along a forest path to the wine village of Wintrich. Three brook valleys and numerous views are the highlights of the approx. 19 km long circular trail.Refreshment stops can be made in these individual villages, and there are also shops for rucksack provisions. This can then be eaten at various resting places along the route.
The Villa Romana in Veldenz is definitely worth a visit. In the cellar there are large parts of a well preserved bathroom. Today the building serves as a museum and "house of the guest".
