Turn-by-turn directions
After about 2 km through the forest we reach the asphalt road on the plateau. We cross this and our path leads us almost opposite along the row of bushes on a slightly ascending field path towards Hödeshof. We also cross the next asphalt road only to continue on the opposite forest path towards Fischteiche/Kautenbach. Along the fish ponds we now follow the watercourse on a beautiful forest path down through the Zweibachtal valley to the Kautenbach district. We follow the main road for about 400 m on the right hand side to the car park. Here we cross the Kautenbach again and keep left briefly uphill in order to walk on a very nice footpath and great rock formations along the Kautenbach towards Trarbach/Bad Wildstein. After a good 1 km we reach the old Kurmittelhaus in Bad Wildstein and the former Hotel Bad Wildstein. On the footpath we follow the T 2 up and down and after about 1 km we meet the country road. We follow this road. Opposite the former barracks Nalla (today Escape Room Mosel) we ascend briefly to the right. At the pump station we can enjoy the free thermal water. Continue to the Moseltherme car park. After a few metres in the bend (opposite the car park) we cross the road at a right angle and follow the small footpath rising to the right and walk along the dry stone wall to the left with a view of the Moselle thermal baths and miniature golf course (the oldest miniature golf course in Germany in a park-like area). Then we meet the footpath T 1, but we follow it straight on between vineyards and gardens. Then the pond path leads us along the watercourse to the Weihertorplatz. Through Weiher- and Moselstraße we reach the starting point on the Moselle.
