The route follows the banks of the Moselle from Neumagen-Dhron to Piesport and back through the vineyards. The highlight of the tour is the largest Roman wine press north of the Alps.

A typical Moselle riverside walk connecting the villages of Neumagen-Dhron and Piesport. The Römer people already settled in the area of the two villages, Neumagen-Dhron even claims the title of „Älteste Weinort Deutschlands“ for itself.
