From the Taurach Valley we descend over a mountain range of the Niedere Tauern into the Weißpriachtal. Four mountain lakes and two rustic inns await us.

We hike from the Taurach valley up to the Twenger Alm and the Twenger Almsee, cross the ridge between Gro&szlig Gurpitscheck and Golitschspitze (of the Niedere Tauern) and continue to the Oberen Schönalmsee. Through the Schönalmtal valley you now walk to the Blaslacke and then to the Wirpitschsee and the Toni Mörtel Hütte. If you are tired, you can go swimming in the Wirpitschsee. We descend into the Weißpriachtal and finish our hike at the Granglerhütte.
