Kätkä peak (503m) trail, Kätkätunturi, Levi
You can find directions for this route from a signpost next to Levi Tourist Information. After crossing the Myllyoja drain the coniferous forest changes gradually into mixed forest, later into mountain fell birch grove and finally into open fell terrain. At the fell uplands the terrain is hillocky and easy to hike. When you reach the Isolaki peak you are 310m above the lake Immel after a hike of 4 km. During this distance you can see by observing the nature how the differences in the height of the terrain affect the flora of the area, making it very diverse. The beautiful scenery can also be admired from the laavu (a lean-to shelter) at the peak of the Kätkä mountain fell.
