The cultural landscape around Lundsætra is centrally located in Storlægret natural reserve. Dairy cows and calves are still a pleasant fixture during the summer. Along with horse procession on Tronhus, you can experience the unique atmosphere that
comes with domestic well kept old buildings and pasture animals around. Take some time to reflect on
previous generation and their laborious work. A
time when people went with the herd for several days to get up on the mountain to make use of the wilderness resources.
Storlægeret natural reserve can be covered on foot, car, bike or horseback. During winterseason there are good and well groomed trails. Natural access is via Vestfjellvegen between Lenningen and Oppsjøen (this road is not plowed winter). From Tronhus is a marked path west towards Svarthamar.
