A tour for savourers of great alpine panoramas and cosy cabins
Through blackberry and bilberry bushes, you first get to the Untere Lüchlealp - one of the most picturesque huts in the valley - then the Innere Stierhofalpe. As an awarded GenussHütte (gourmet cabin) it offers exclusively regional products. The amazing view of the Walser mountain panorama is a free extra!
Make a stop at the GenussHütte (gourmet cabin) Innere Stierhof – all products stem from the family's farm in the valley.
Hiking trails, huts and attractions can also be found in the nature adventure map, which can be purchased at the tourist office in Hirschegg.

From the main road in Baad follow the Starzelweg to the left; after a few hundred meters, turn right onto the trail. In short peaks, you hike on a root path up to the Untere Lüchlealp. At the fork, keep to the left, direction Stierhofalpe. Soon the forest thins out and you walk with a moderate rise in open terrain to the Innere Stierhofalpe. Continue to Starzelalp, then down into the Duratal. Small brooks make the way partly wet and slippery. At the Duraalpe, a gravel road continues to the familiar fork in the road and back to Baad.
