The Peak Trail is a scenic route measuring 500 meters. The accessible gondola lift brings the scenic tour to visitors in wheelchairs and families with children in prams.
The trail begins at the Gondola2000 lift peak station and rotates clockwise around the Levi fell's peak. The trail has six rest areas and one campfire place. The theme of the trail is the 'Nature's Celestial Stories'.
The GondolI2000 cabin lift runs with convenient speed along the fell's western side, going as high as 20 metres above the ground. The altitude difference between the upper and lower stations is 302 metres. The downhill, enduro and freeride biking tracks of the Levi Bike Park run below the lift. The sightseeing tour takes about 20 minutes and it is possible to get out of the cabin at the top to wander around the top of the fell.
Scenic fireplace on the half way of the route.
Visit the iconic Santa's Cabin - a very well known place from the movie "Christmas Story". Santa's Cabin is located between slopes number 11 and 13. In summer time the cabin is reachable from the gondola's top and bottom stations as well from the marked Ice Age hiking trail.
The trail may be slippery after the rain and morning dew.
Light daypack with rain/wind cover, comfortable footwear, adequate outdoor clothing, sun and rain protection, snacks and drinking water if necessary, track map.
Please keep nature clean and bring back everything you take there.
