Brjeka footbridge

To start from the information center walk down the alleyway across the street, in between Kavarna coffee shop and Thirsty River Brewing. At the end of the road you will see the first sign indicating the trail for Brjeka. Turn right here and follow until you reach the main road. Take the main road leading downhill until you reach the airport. There are no signs at this point but you simply walk around the airport and follow the runway until the midpoint; From there you will find a trail leading downhill towards Čezsoča. At the bottom of the hill cross the Čezsoča bridge and immediately turn left onto a dirt road. Follow the road until it reaches a larger paved road and continue on for 30 minutes until it dead ends at a house. (It is important to note that prior to reaching the house you will encounter a signpost indicating the Brjeka trail. This is a faster route back to Bovec but it does not pass the Brjeka bridge. I strongly recommend you continue on from here as the pools under Brjeka are the highlight of the walk.) From the house at the end of the road you follow a well established trail for about 10 minutes until you reach a sign post indicating Soška pot (see images for clarification). Here you will reach a Brjeka footbridge connected to a big rock where you can cross the river Soča to the other side. From here you follow the obvious signs for Bovec. After walking for 20 minutes through the forrest trails you will reach the confluence of the Soča and Koritnica rivers. Cros another suspension footbridge and continue through the campgrounds to the top of the hill where you encounter a path that leads directly back to the center of Bovec (from Brjeka bridge it is the same path as Soška pot and Alpi Adria Trail).
