Explore a scenic lake from Bryne center in Jæren
Frøylandsvatnet Lake is a scenic recreation area at the northern end of Bryne town center in Jæren. A clear trail leads along the western shore of the lake and over the 230-meter long, wooden Midgardsormen Bridge to the woods at Njåskogen on the eastern side. The architecturally-designed pedestrian bridge has been placed to encourage exploration and complement the surrounding environment.

The trailhead is in Bryne, a short detour from Norwegian Scenic Route Jæren.
There is plenty of public parking available around the townhall (“rådhus”).
The local train stops in Bryne. From the station it’s just a 5 minute walk to the trailhead.
