De bedoeling was eerst om te lopen via Punta Udine. Werd afgeraden door de huttenbaas vanwege alpine achtige en slecht aangegeven route. Aangeraden werd de standard route via Traversette. We konden helaas vanwege sneeuw de ingang van de Buco di Viso niet vinden en gingen over de col, die echter een prachtig uitzicht gaf.
Verder zijn we afgeweken van de standard route en liepen vlag voor Pian del Re (G) naar het zuiden langs prachtige meertjes die niet in de mist lagen. Van andere mensen die wel de standard tour liepen die lager ligt langs een ander meertje, hadden vanwege de mist hun meertje niet gezien.
