A very fine day out in good weather - six relatively easily gained 2000m peaks, camoscia families and fantastic views! The ridge between Pizzo Cefalone and Cima di Malecoste is initiallly narrow and rocky but eases considerably beyond Cima Giovanni Paulo II. The Duca degli Abruzzi rifugio is open and managed between mid June and the end of September.
