Percorso non impegnativo con partenza dal parcheggio adiacente al ristorante "Antica Osteria" a Meati; si cammina su strada (via della Polla/via della Cella) fino ad incontrare l'inizio vero e proprio del sentiero 106. La salita verso la loc. Quattro Venti è costante ma non impegnativa (si possono ammirare i ruderi di Castello Passerino, antica fortificazione), così come la discesa lungo il sentiero 110 (principalmente su strada forestale) non presenta particolari difficoltà. Arrivati a Gattaiola si prosegue lungo l'argine del canale fino a tornare al parcheggio.
