By train you can enjoy your holiday from the very beginning. No traffic jam will stop you from getting to Maria Alm! The nearest train station is Saalfelden. You can book your train connection under www.oebb.at .
From Saalfelden railway station, take the 620 bus to Maria Alm.
In the Hochkönig region you can take the hiking bus to the starting points of your planned tours in comfort.
Getting there
By car coming from Munich: Toll-free journey via Siegsdorf - Lofer - Saalfelden - Maria Alm further on via the Hochkönig Bundesstraße B164 to Maria Alm.
By car coming from Vienna: Via Salzburg - Lofer - Saalfelden - Maria Alm further on the Hochkönig federal road B164 to Maria Alm
Alternative: Salzburg - Bischofshofen - Mühlbach - Dienten - Maria Alm
Parking
In Maria Alm you will find a large car park directly at the entrance to the village. In the village centre there are limited parking facilities at the church and at the valley station of the Natrun cable car.Coordinates
