Our easiest trip for the whole family, you can even bring a stroller with you as there is a gravel road all the way to the top. On the way up to the top, you walk through a beautiful landscape with free grazing cattle so please be careful to close all gates behind you and keep your dog on a leash. There are many beautiful flowers and also wild berries to pick on the way.
Right before the last turn, 100 meters before the top, there is a nice place to sit down, to the left of the road.
From the top, you have a nice view over the valley, both east- and westwards and over the ski resort, Fyri resort and the whole area from Hemsedal town centre to Skarsnuten.
On the top, there are link stations for TV, radio, telephone and broadband.
Obs! There are several options for a detour or a roundtrip when hiking Høllekølten so please check the map for more interesting alternatives.

You can also include this top as a roundtrip going from the town centre along the old Kings Road, up to Høllekølten. On your way down you continue towards Tuv and cross the river. From there you can follow the pathway past the ski resort and all the way back to the centre.

Directions: Drive to Tuv, 4.6 km from the tourist office, and take a sharp right turn at the crossroads before the bridge, towards Grøndalen, but instead of following the road towards Grøndalen follow the road to the right going upwards. . Park your car before the tractor road by the water mill. Follow the signs along the gravel road and turn right through the gate.Parking
