We walk along the Goethe Trail, then on a boardwalk through the middle of a large moor, where we even see carnivorous plants. Then we walk along idyllic streams to the exciting WaldWandelWeg.

The circular trail runs from Torfhaus to the forestry station and then leads along the paved sandy path into the forest - Goethe already hiked here. A detour onto the wooden plank footbridge shows us the full splendour of the large Torfhaus moor. We continue along an old mining ditch to the Kaiserweg. We now follow the Abbe until we change from the Kaiserweg to the Torfmoorweg, which takes us over a smaller mountain to the Wald-Wandel-Weg. After an informative walk on this nature trail, we return to Torfhaus.
