Sermitsiaq is probably the most iconic landmark seen from Nuuk. The beautiful saddle is seen from many places in the fjord, too.
The highest point and the goal of this tour is the saddle to the East of the beautiful needle, which is a few meters lower and probably much harder to access. The normal route is doable without a rope but finding the way can be a bit tricky, especially in the upper part.
By boat, it takes about half an hour to get to the peaceful Sermitsiaq bay where there is a good spot to anchor on the north side of a distinct peninsula.
