From l'Home Chamondot, proceed on D617 until you reach the gate of Chateau de Miserai. Turn right at the gate on the dirt road and follow the signs to Brasserie du Perche, park at the brewery's parking lot. The loop is 6.3 kilometer and uses a section of the GR22 hiking trail from Paris to Mount St Michel. It is lightly trafficked and features several lakes and rivers, a 17th century watermill, a waterfront brewery with beer garden, picnic tables, food truck, petting zoo and pedal boats as well as a medieval castle. After crossing D 617, go 1/2 a mile and turn left at the intersection toward the ruins of Chateau de Gannes. The chateau is private property, stay on the path and do not go inside the walls. Then, backtrack to the intersection and go straight. Horses can tie up at the brewery. The trail is accessible year-round however, beware of several muddy sections during the winter months.
