Von Hiltpoltstein führt ein idyllischer Wald- und Wiesenweg nach Grossenohe und durch das schöne „Krumme Tal“ wieder zurück.

Eine Wanderung in der Fränkischen Schweiz kommt selten ohne eine Burg aus. In unserem Ausgangsort erwartet uns schon die Burg Hiltpoltstein, die mächtig auf einem 20 m hohen Kalksteinfelsen thront. Wer noch Lust hat, kann sich noch auf einen kleinen Rundweg begeben. Der 7 km lange Naturlehrpfad führt rund um Hiltpoltstein über die Silberecke, den höchsten Aussichtspunkt im Landkreis Forchheim, und erklärt auf zahlreichen Informationstafeln sehr anschaulich die heimische Fauna und Flora.
