Valley Trail Stalden – Saas

The starting point for the valley trail is located at the Stalden-Saas station in Stalden. Behind the level crossing the “Bielmatte” road leads you to the “Chinegga” bridge. Once over the crossing, you simply walk through the forest and the different hamlets until you reach the hamlet of “Resti”. Along the renovated path below “Kantonsstrasse” you will come to the hamlet of “Raftgartu” and later the village of “Eisten”. From “Zen Eisten” you carve a route along the tarmacked road to the hamlet of “Ahorn” and switch sides in the valley. From the hamlet of “Ze Briggeltinu”, the valley path becomes flatter where you will walk between the river and “Kantonsstrasse” to the Saas Valley waste-water treatment plant. There you cross the road and continue via “Niedergut” to the village of Saas-Balen.
