This trail combines history and nature. First you walk over the dyke, along the Sûre. After an ascent, you follow a former line of battle from the Second World War, lined with trenches. You pass the Niederberghaff ruins, which are also a reminder of the past. This is a good opportunity to discover the history of the Éislek in an exploratory way.

First 3k’s (of a total of 13) somewhat boring (apart from the castle). After climbing a steep 1k, the path leads through the calm woods. Some stunning views, the route gets better and better the more you walk. If you walk with a dog: no water on the way where dogs can drink or swim.
