These traditional hiking trails, created by the Ministry of Economy, can be found all over Luxembourg. There are 43 of them in the Éislek region. You can easily reach their starting points by car. The Auto-Pédestre trails complement the other circular trails in the Éislek region perfectly.

L’auto-pédestre démarre à la sortie de la localité. Vous traversez une forêt pour atteindre le point de vue de Runtschelt, qui offre un magnifique panorama sur le lac de la Haute-Sûre.

La randonnée se poursuit vers l’ancien bunker sous-terrain des résistants de la Seconde Guerre mondiale. Il abritait surtout des réfractaires, qui refusaient de rejoindre l’armée allemande. Ce bunker fut entièrement restauré en 1987 et est classé patrimoine national depuis lors.

Après un crochet par l’est, vous faites demi-tour pour vous diriger vers la descente abrupte du Përmesknupp.

Ce lieu de pèlerinage, vers lequel une procession religieuse conduit chaque année, se compose d’une petite chapelle du 18e siècle située à côté d’une source. Il y a également les ruines d’un ancien domaine agricole avec ermitage.

D’ici, le chemin remonte vers Kaundorf, d’abord en traversant une forêt puis en passant par le village pour rejoindre l’arrivée.
