Hike from Meienberg, with detour to the Diemtigtal Nature Park and back to Zweisimmen.
Distance 11 km
The hikers' taxi takes you comfortably from Zweisimmen to Meienberg by appointment. The hiking trail from Meienberg leads you in half an hour directly to the Seeberg lake and thus into the Diemtigtal Nature Park and the Spillgerte nature reserve. Once you have reached the lake, a path leads you almost straight to the charming Stierenberg mountain restaurant. After a snack on the cosy terrace of the restaurant, you follow the hiking trail directly to the Gubi, the highest point of your hike. Here you have an impressive view of the upper Simmental and you can already guess your destination. From Hinter Chumi, the hiking trail leads downhill to Blankenburg railway station.
A fine snack or a hearty lunch - a visit to the Stierenberg mountain restaurant is certainly worthwhile!

Blankenburg railway station, Zweisimmen
The hiking taxi takes you from Zweisimmen to Alp Meienberg. From Meienberg, the hiking trail leads in half an hour directly to the Seeberg lake and thus into the Diemtigtal Nature Park. From the lake, you follow a path with a barely noticeable incline to Alp Stierenberg, which you reach in half an hour. At the Stierenberg mountain restaurant, the trail changes to a narrow hiking path, on which you reach "Gubi", the highest point of your hike, after another half hour. From "Gubi", the winding, two-hour descent begins via "Hinder-Chumi", "Uf de Flüene" and finally through the "Sitewald" forest to Blankenburg and your destination station. Attention: "Stop on demand" applies here (to make the train stop, press the button on the station building).
