The Weiherbachtal circular trail begins in the middle of the Eifel village of Lutzerath and leads you on eight kilometres through the original landscape of the Volcanic Eifel. First you cross the idyllic valley of the Weiherbach, where step by step you dive further into the calming landscape of the Volcanic Eifel. In the midst of pristine nature, you will find it easy to switch off. The trail leads you further into another picturesque valley around Lutzerath - the Erdenbach valley. The Erdenbach rises near Gillenbeuren and flows into the Ueßbach near Bad Bertrich. After the hike through the hidden valleys, a highlight with a far-reaching view now awaits you. From a vantage point you have a fantastic view of Lutzerath, the volcanic Eifel and beyond the Moselle heights. To end the hike in peace, the gastronomic offer in Lutzerath provides the opportunity for a cosy stop.
