Chiloe attracts with its myths, legends and its history of pirates and explorers. Dense forests as a green carpet cover a large part of the island. Equally extraordinary are its inhabitants and places. Castro is strongly visited because of its houses on stilts called as well Palafitos. Just 50 km away there is the charming village of Cucao; right after there start small hikes through the National Park Chiloe. It is a highly recommended journey.
