Töppösen luolikko is one of the largest boulder fields in southern Finland, 7,5 km2. The landscape got its shape after the latest ice age period,

Originally this large boulder or rock field was over 750 hectare, but slowly some smaller areas have formed to wetlands and even small forests. There is still a huge area covered with sharp-shaped rocks. Ther is also a campfire place.
Duckboards lead you to the rock field from the parking place.

Safety informationPlease note that the rocks are rough and might be very slippery. The safest way to experience the boulder field is to stay on the duckboards.
Getting thereDrive from Halsua road 7530 direction Ylikylä. After 7 km turn left to Karvosentie road. Drive 100 metres and turn right to Loukkukoskentie road. Drive 1,3 km an turn left to Töppösentie road. Drive 1,8 km and turn right to Eevinpisto road. Continue 1,1 km until you arrive to the parking place. From there you will see the duckboards leading to the boulder fields.
